Basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal (aged thirty-nine) split from his wife Shaunie whom he had married in 2002 and with whom he finalized a divorce in 2009, the couple had four children together and one child each from previous relationships. Recently however, Shaq has been in a publicized relationship with reality television personality Nikki “Hoopz” Alexander (of Flavor of Love fame) since 2010, and in recent months there have been rumors that the pair is engaged with the Shaq-Hoopz camp neither confirming nor denying the rumors.
Shaunie O’Neal, Shaq’s ex-wife has been rather quiet on the matter, saying that she and her ex-husband don’t discuss his relationship with Hoopz, Shaunie has been outspoken about her role on reality tv show “Basketball Wives” and some of the drama she’s gotten into on the show and the people she’s had confrontations with, saying that she tries not to get into arguments but that she can handle herself and will do so if she has to.
