As the details surrounding the fiery car crash that claimed the life of “Jackass” franchise star Ryan Dunn emerge the public is left to wonder what would cause someone seemingly so happy and full of life to take such dangerous risks, investigators of the crash site estimate that the Porsche Dunn was traveling in hit speeds as high as 140 mph before soaring over the guardrail and crashing into nearby trees. While the toxicology report shows that Dunn had a blood-alcohol content that was more than twice Pennsylvania’s legal limit for drivers.
The toxicology report further says that Dunn’s blood-alcohol level was 0.196, which is more than twice Pennsylvania’s current limit of .08. An officer who responded to the scene said that it was the worst crash that he had ever seen, and that the car looked worse than any other he’d ever seen even before it caught fire.
