Grammy award winning British singer Adele has postponed five dates of her North American tour due to laryngitis. Her record label released a statement Monday stating that the twenty-three year old was diagnosed last Thursday in Minneapolis and was then ordered by doctors to get immediate rest. The show was cancelled and rescheduled for June 22nd; she then performed Saturday in Denver but had to cancel her show in Salt Lake City shortly before she was expected to go on as her illness worsened.
Her tour is expected to resume June 4th in San Francisco, with performances in Seattle, Portland, Oregon, and Vancouver (British Columbia, Canada) also postponed and rescheduled
