Twenty-seven year old America Ferrera is perhaps best known as playing “Ugly Betty” on television for the duration of the show’s four season run, but on her wedding day this past Monday, she looked absolutely stunning. Twenty-seven year old Ferrera married her longtime boyfriend Ryan Piers Williams after meeting him when he cast her in a student film he was directing while a student at the University of Southern California.
Ferrera has had an extensive film and television career beginning largely in 2002 including television movies, a starring role in “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” films, a starring role on “Ugly Betty” and appearances in films such as “La Misma Luna/Under the Same Moon” and “Lords of Dogtown”. Ryan Piers Williams directed the 2010 Sundance film “The Dry Land” which America Ferrera starred in, the film received mixed reviews.
