Kyla Pratt Clears Up Rumors About Her Daughter Lyric And ''Stripper'' Boyfriend

After actress Kyla Pratt revealed that she had a 1 month old baby girl named Lyric on 106&Park earlier this month the rumor mill got to turning.Kyla's set to appear in the January 10th premiere and second season of Let's Stay Together on BET.The 25 year old took to her tumblr account to clear up the rumors.

Kyla says her man/child's father who also has a son was never a stripper but a choreographer of some sort.She also says she never hid her pregnancy she simply chose not to sell her story to blogs and paparazzi.

I annouced a little over a month ago that i had a baby girl named lyric.Ever since then there has mostly been negativity thrown our way.This is something that I knew would happen so that is why i delayed of sharing my happiness with this lovely world.I did not HIDE.I was out doing everything i normally do.Please believe I was not in the house looking at the wall waiting for time to pass.Just because I didn't publicize my pregnancy or try to make money off of it doesn't mean i am not proud of my daughter or her father.

While I was pregnant i didn't want to deal with any negativity.When you have a human being growing inside of you they feel every emotion you feel.I didn't know how I was going to react with my hormones going crazy.So I decided I'm not announcing anything.If someone catches a pic so be it but i was going to enjoy my pregnancy.I believe that my daughter is such a happy baby because i didn't subject myself to this random blog bullsh*t during the happiest time of my life.

Now let's briefly discuss her father since he is the subject people can't stop talking about.We have been together for a few years now.He has been a tattoo artist for about eight years and has been writing and producing music around the same.This whole he is a stripper and changed careers so quickly so I wouldn't look crazy is some bullsh*t.Just like every man out here he found a hustle that had nothing to do with selling drugs,robbing people,or anything where he would be put in jail.A lot of people make assumptions about a profession based solely off of experience you have had or something you have seen on tv.The club he used to work at years ago for 2 yrs. was basically a competition where guys would compete for the most attention by creating the hottest dance routines and music in la that i now see all over the music biz and videos you all love.Some dancers were into the costumes and others wore jeans,bandanas,chucks and a tank top(mine).He never strip down naked or to a thong.His image was and is about Compton,Hood.My man/daughter's father is a Songwriter,Well known tattoo artist and hip-hop artist.He has been doing these things for years.He is making money to take care of his son and his daughter the legal way so he can be here to raise them.When he releases his Music and Art Work he has been doing i guarantee u i won't have to say anything else.

I don't owe anyone an explanation about MY life.Just decided to set the record straight so people who think i care about their opinions will maybe give it a rest.

When asked about the photos of him kissing Olivia that recently surfaced Maino revealed that the images were from a few months ago.

Yandy is a nice girl.I didn't really get a chance to get to know her but i didn't have any issues with her.

Kimbella is a sweet girl and misunderstood.She's really likable.I felt bad about judging her on what I heard from the other girls.

I love Somaya.I have so much respect for her grind and ambition.She's a go-getter

Zoe Saldana is joined by her beautiful sisters Mariel and Cisely in a W article called soul sisters.In the article she discusses the close bond the sisters have and how they have to live near each other.

According to legal documents Tameka Raymond wants sole custody of her two sons she has with singer Usher Raymond because she claims he doesn't involve her in his co-parenting decisions and he cut off her Saks 5th Avenue card!

The court papers recently filed in Georgia Tameka claims Usher:

Repeatedly failed to obtain her permission to travel outside with the kids.

Never got her approval before hiring nannies or gave her first shot to watch the kids when he's away for more than 8 hours.

Didn't allow her to take the kids for 2 weeks in the summer of 2011.

Didn't let her have custody of the kids during Christmas break 2010.

Closed her Saks 5th Avenue card.

Tameka Raymond's Lawyer Says She's Only Fighting For Her Children Says Usher LIED In Custody Petition!

Tameka Raymond filed a petition against her ex-husband Usher for custody and more child support.

Lisa West legal counsel for Tameka Raymond says that Tameka's filing was not a ploy for custody and more money but a simple response to Usher's own initial request for more custody from this past January.

West defends Tameka's decision to protect her children from being shuffled around the world on a constant basis.She speaks on Tameka fighting for her children's stability saying ''Ms.Raymond desires nothing more than for Mr.Raymond to have a relationship and spend quality time with their two children as consistently as possible.However she has never been willing to sacrifice their children's safety and welfare in her efforts to forge such a relationship and has vigorously fought to ensure the children are reared in a stable home environment.

Before you are quick to believe everything Mr.Raymond says Tameka's counsel says most of his petition was made up of lies in order to gain custody of the kids.

Dr.Conrad Murray Sentenced To 4 Years In Prison

Conrad Murray was just sentenced moments ago in a Los Angeles court.The court determined that the appropriate sentence is a maximum of 4 years for involuntary manslaughter.The max term is neccessary because he abandoned his patient who trusted him,administered potential dangerous drugs, his actions occured over a period of time,he repeatedly lied to cover up his transgressions and he violated the trust of his patient and medical community.

The judge says Murray has ''absolutely no sense of remorse'' and is still dangerous.

Due to overcrowding in jails many believe that he will only serve 2 years in county jail or 2 years in home confinement because of overcrowding in county jails as well.

Lance Gross and Pooch Hall were among the celebrities in New Orleans for the Bayou Classic at the Superdome.Tyler Perry House Of Payne star Lance Gross,The Game star Pooch Hall and ATL star Jackie Long hosted a celebrity panel for the ''Achieve One Empowerment Summit during the annual Southern University and Grambling State University Bayou Classic Weekend.

During the panel the men told 500 students how they overcame set backs as black actors and they also told the students to stay focused,out of trouble and urged students to never give up.

Pooch Hall revealed:Not too many people know this but I had a run in with the law years and years ago where I was jailed for four months.I was in the wrong place at the wrong time and with the wrong people.It's important that you have good influences and surround yourself with good people because not everyone gets a second chance like I did.
