Six years of personal holocaust
awakening daily with a crux of confusion
that challenges the fate of devout believers/
Life moving forwardly still, with no justice
in place for the wounded families
whose eyes filled with battery acid
are eaten by painful memories daily.
There is something really unfair about
planned assassins having so many
rights when they break all moral,
civil and legal codes to create
fresh scars that never heal.
While this master of his fate
and Captain of his soul
is allowed to know the day
he leaves this earth,
make amends quickly before
his spirit capsizes,
Say his prayers for forgiveness
before the cameras arrive/
It Bothers me that he could
be beside my daughter in heaven.
My tears are for the families.
Who had no choice
who lost irreplaceable
heart parts
who had to save face
and keep living
like we all do when tragedy
kills those we love most
